Garden of Wisdom Granactive Retinoid 5% Serum

Garden of Wisdom's Granactive Retinoid 5% Serum contains 5% of Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate, an advanced retinoid which offers significant benefits against the multiple signs of ageing. Granactive Retinoid 5% Serum is a technology from Grant Industries providing 0.5% of an ester of All-Trans Retinoic Acid and is one of the most bio-available, non-prescription forms of Vitamin A. Granactive Retinoid provides an effective delivery system to protect skin against ageing when compared to retinol with little or no irritation. Granactive Retinoid Serum may also be of value in treating moderate to severe acne when other treatments have not worked effectively. Retinoids fight breakouts on face by normalising the removal of dead skin cells that clog pores leading to blackheads, whiteheads and pimples. pH 6.5 - 6.9.

Each evening, apply 1-2 pumps on to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye area. If you haven't used a retinol-based product before, you need to introduce this slowly to allow your skin to acclimatise. Start by applying 1-2x week for the first couple of weeks, gradually building up to nightly over the course of 4-6 weeks. This should minimise any purging, irritation or peeling, which can happen with retinol whilst the skin adjusts.
